Our Founders

FUTURE Founders

Chuck Madson, Tim Harrington and DeVika Stalling co-founded Future with a shared passion for youth empowerment and a vision to provide an inclusive space for young people in the Lompoc Valley to realize their potential.​

 

Chuck is the Executive Director of Future. He previously worked for the County of Santa Barbara, Alcohol & Drug Programs as South County Care Coordinator, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Lompoc Chamber of Commerce and the California Consortium of Addiction Professionals & Programs. Chuck moved to Lompoc from the San Fernando Valley in 2008, after being released from prison, with the motivation to give back to those in need after struggling most of his life with addiction and the effects of incarceration.

 

Tim worked as a private business consultant in Santa Barbara County after holding various business management and market segment positions at Raytheon Systems/Hughes Aircraft Company. He actively participates in the Lompoc community, including serving on the Board of Trustees for the Santa Barbara Country FoodBank and the Board of Directors for the Hancock College Foundation.

DeVika is a Lompoc native who currently serves as the President & CEO of the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce. Prior to assuming her role at The Chamber, she served as Director at The Lompoc Boys & Girls Club, where she was employed for over 14 years. DeVika diligently serves the Lompoc Community as a youth advocate, providing a safe & supportive space for thousands of Lompoc youth as well as serving in various other community organizations. She is a single mother of one daughter who is in her senior year at Lompoc High School. She has embraced the motto of “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.”
